Aeroelastic Effects on Dynamic Pressure ‒ Mach 0.90, AoA = 6° ‒ Mod. ONERA M6 Wing
A comparison between the dynamic pressure distributions over the wing surface produced by the rigid and aeroelastic analyses highlights the usefulness of FSI models to capture dynamic aeroelastic phenomena.
The geometry used in the analysis is a modified ONERA M6 wing which has had its span increased while maintaining its leading and trailing edge sweep angles.
